The talent release forms show that the actors that are staring in my music video have given their permission to be recorded on video tape.

Call Sheet.

The call sheet allows the cast and crew to know where they must be at specific times helping the filming to run smoothly.

Risk Assesment

Photo shoot Plan.

My plan for my digipak and the poster is to create a photograph that is similar to my mock ups. I want to create a correlation between my music video and my digipak. My music video is focused at the sea side so I will try and capture this in my photographs for my products.

Lighting: The light within the photographs will be natural as it will be a location shoot which I think create a juxtaposition between my main product and my ancillary tasks. I want to light to be gentle and easy like the location of my video. I feel that by using a non synthetic light I will be able to convey the emotions and the style of the product. I want the light to be natural which will also help to draw out the colouring of the models skin tone and the clothes they are wearing.

Make-up, Costume & Hair: I want the models to have a natural look through their make up and clothing and I want the audience to be aware it is winter so they will be wearing wintery clothes that highlight this. I also plan to have the models wearing greens and blues to highlight the sea and the setting they are in which I think will work well. I plan for my models to look normal in terms of make up and design as I want the audience to be able to connect with the audience and feel like they would be able to be the models I feature to ensure that a connection is created between the two. The use of little make up will help to highlight the young nature of the models and the gentle theme within my products rather than showing an overly made up girl that doesn’t reflect the sort of narrative I have devised for my music video. I want to hair within my product to also be natural so that the style of the product transcends through all my products highlighting the gentle nature of the narrative once again.

Location & Shot Type: I also plan to use picture of items you would see around the beach to create a feeling and theme of the areas around the sea i.e. deck chairs or cliff faces which will work to create the feeling of the video. I want the photographs to have a very sharp look to them which I think will match the mood of the setting and the surrounding within the photograph. I want the focus of the photograph to focus on the models but to have equal spacing to the setting.

Location Scout

 

 

 

 

 

 

These photographs are locations that I have scouted for through gogle images and google maps. These images give me an identification of what locations I can use and how to find them. I used Google Maps & Google Images because I was unable to go to Southend myself to search for locations because I was unable to get there. The images show a variety of different locations that are key for my script and my music video.

The first image shows the arcade which I hope to use in my music video so I found a suitable environment and took a picture that identifies it. The second image shows the beach where I want to film my beach scenes, it is close to the arcade which should make the logistics easier as I will not need excess travel expenses. The third shows the pier where I will film a couple of different scenes, the pier was hard to find on Google Maps so I had to go to Google Images to find a suitable photograph which showed the pier in the way in which I need. The fourth photograph show an angle of the beach and the pier which is what I want to recreate in my final scenes. The final photograph shows the local town park where I will film a couple of scene of the couple playing and becoming closer.

Storyboard.

Here is my complete storyboard which lets me visualise and show which shots I will be filming and how the music video will look and progress. The storyboard also allows to have a story and time sequence to follow when I begin filming, tis will allow the music video to run smoothly whilst also helping me to remember the way I want it to look shot to shot.
